webperf.net: add site
We only test sites in Webperf that have asked to be included.
To be eligible for testing, your company must be an ISP or a
company offering mass web site hosting to your customers.
Submissions can only be accepted from administrators of the
company being submitted.
To have your site added to Webperf you must provide us with the
details below. Optional fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
You may be contacted by a member of our team to provide proof of
some or all of these details.
Notes:
-
The full URL (e.g. http://www.foo.com/image.gif) of a static
object (e.g. an image, but not the output of a CGI script)
must be on the main ISP web site being tested. This object
must be between 4096 - 6144 bytes.
Please check the file size. We cannot use files
smaller than 4096 bytes or larger than 6144 bytes.
If your file size is outside of these limits, the test will
generate errors, and you will automatically be removed from
the testing.
-
There must be evidence of web hosting services on that web
site or your submission will be refused. In other words, the
test image must live on a machine on which your customers
would reasonably expect to find their web sites hosted.
-
The URL must be the domain name and the path to the static object.
If the URL points to a broken link, or if the static object
referenced is not the correct size, the submission will also be
rejected.
-
If at any time you wish to be removed from the listings, let
us know, and we will remove you as soon as is practicable.
